Sailmaking

I recently came across these sailmaking tools that belong to someone who has been working in the trade over 30 years. He used these tools as an apprentice but have since been stored away in an old chest. It made a great time capsule for traditional skills and think these artifacts are really quite beautiful....

Preparing for the Spring/Summer season, here are some of the inspirations for our fashion accessories launch in January 2013. Taken from various locations around us here in beautiful South Devon.

Plymouth - Studies for photoshoot

Tinside pool - an icon of the Plymouth Hoe front. Glorious art deco curves, set the scene for seaside glamour.

Look out for the SS13 range coming soon....

Fresh local fayre

I love this photo as it came out looking more like an oil painting. Some kind fisherman left these out on the harbour in a readymade display.

Smile....you are on camera

Nice to see that there is still a fishing community on the Barbican in Plymouth

I love beachcombing... You can always find some inspiring things washed up on the shore.... It never ceases to amaze me the craftmanship that goes into fishing nets and that piece of rope was amazing... the way it was plaited. I have never seen anything like it...

A wonderful day on the Dart

Ahhh, this is the life, messing about on the river! A lovely afternoon on a boat trip from Dartmouth up the river to Dittisham...
